back when nobody saw my site, or maybe just before i had a guestbook, i had a bunch of text at the top of the first page talking about site updates, how much coding sucked, strange ramblings, whatever. i really should bring that back. i guess it can live here instead of the first page. i don't really like explaining myself that much though. i'm already explaining myself far too much on this page. i need to be more cryptic!!!!!

the autoplay songs on some of my pages are sort of important to the experience of scrolling through the images, but so many browsers actively fight against autoplay that i cannot keep up with who allows it or how to bypass it. im p sure those songs just do not play on certain browsers...which is...sad but inevitable, i guess. i also get the feeling that most people find autoplay songs annoying after a while. they get annoying for me, even on my own page when i'm just editing them over and over. it's like how on instagram, everyone seems to choose the worst possible songs for their posts, they are always so loud and obnoxious. i used to joke that it should only be allowed for people to post on instagram with ambient music. to some extent, i still think this would benefit many people's experience on that app. it's insane how instagram made it possible for music to be louder on their app than it is on the highest volume on any standalone music streamer. autoplay is beautiful, please stop being pussies, do not fight it, everying is going to be okay.

i'm a big fan of minimal web design cause 1. i like the way it looks and 2. it discreetly hides the fact that i'm fucking bad at coding! i get fomo about maximalism when i see other neocities sites though. is it really me though? i'm not sure. probably not. this page can be maximalist for once though. as a treat.
anyway, here's a cool update for you freaks:
ok so i'm awful at making buttons, and none of my buttons look as good as any of the ones i've seen around on neocities, but if buttons are your thing, and you love me, you can pick one of these here. i've noticed a probelm with the flicker buttons not playing at the correct speed, i think bc there's so much shit on this page taking up bandwidth speed?...and their frame rates are really high? or something like that. idk. but hopefully you can save them and they'll look how they're supposed to. i've made a variety of them for you to choose from. sfw and nsfw, though the sfw ones will probably be misleading.

new music page on my site today! you can check it out here. first time editing a page NOT using the built-in neocities code editor. lowkey sucked more, but obviosuly cuz i'm not used to it. i worked on it for more than a day, can you believe that? i usually try to finish pages in one day, but this one was rather complicated to code, and i'm a fucking dumb ass. i swear, i really do not like coding at all. i don't think i'll ever get used to it. i'm always satisfied with the finished result, but it hardly ever seems worth the trouble lmao. i think all of you with such complicated code and javascript on your pages are actual geniuses. it's incredible. code never be me (lmao this was a typo, but when i read it back i thought it was soooo funny, so i'm keeping it in.) i think this will be the last big site update for a little while, as i'm getting super busy with work and school and i have to lock in and not be a degenerate pervert online, even though i know deep down in my heart that that is my real calling in this life. there will still be occasional updates here and there when i get good ideas for them. thank you to all of you who visit my site or talk to me on here or send messages on my guestbook, i love every message. even if i don't respond to all of them, they are so wonderful to receive and i appreiate every single one.
